Student hacks teacher to death

A Polish man has been arrested for hacking his German teacher to death with an axe, and seriously wounding her 78-year-old mother.
The 27-year-old man from Radomsko, southern Poland, was picked up by police in the western city of Poznan after attempting to flee the country on a coach heading for Denmark.
A neighbour who heard screaming from the 52-year-old German teacher’s house and knocked on the door to see what was happening, told police that it was answered by the Pole holding an axe dripping with blood.
The axe-wielding man then fled, before the neighbour could call police.
