ECR at odds over homosexuality

A Polish MEP in league with the UK's Conservative Party has come out against the promotion of homosexuality in schools.
Konrad Szymanski, of the Law and Justice party (PiS), said in response to the Conservative Party’s leader David Cameron's apology for the proposed EU law banning the promotion of homosexuality: "We won’t apologise because there is nothing to apologise for.
"Of course personally I don't have to agree with [David Cameron]. PiS holds the view that homosexuality should not be promoted in schools."
"We have already agreed that in these matters we will each keep to our own convictions."
