Intelligence agents get TV training

Agents working for Poland’s internal security service (ABW) have attended classes on how to appear on camera, in case footage of their operations ends up on television.
“The classes were organised for all members of the ABW,” an officer from the service said while giving evidence before a parliamentary commission investigating the death of politician Barbara Blida. “We were warned that material from operations could end up on television.”
The lessons made clear that any use of excessive force by the security service, or any mistakes, could come back to haunt them if it got into the public domain.
