Pawel Brozek’s hopes of playing abroad have hit the rocks after his proposed move to Fulham was blocked by the Wisla Krakow board. Brozek, who finished as top scorer for the league champions, had previously stated his desire to move to England and is understood to be fuming following boardroom intervention to scupper his dream move to the Premiership. ‘I am aware this was perhaps a once in a lifetime deal for Pawel, but he must understand that we still need him here in Krakow. I hope he does not frown upon me over my disapproval of his move’, said manager Maciej Skorza.
