Gortat U-Turn

Marcin Gortat, the first Pole to ever play in the NBA Finals, has told of his spoken of his delight at having his contract with the Orlando Magic extended.

Speaking to Polskie Radio the Lodz born giant claimed, ‘I’m really excited about coming back to Orlando. I have always been a back up for Dwight Howard so having been given an opportunity to be in the starting line up in Dallas would be an amazing thing for me. But now I’m going to fight for that position in Orlando’. Only the week before his agent had spoken of Gortat’s disappointment of being denied the chance of guaranteed first team action with Dallas. ...
