Poland's MPs should have mental health tests, says ombudsman

Poland’s politicians should take regular mental health tests, according to the country’s Ombudsman for Citizen Rights, Janusz Kochanowski.In an interview published in this week’s Polityka magazine, Kochanowski said, “Judging by what they say and do, one can have serious doubts about the mental health of some Polish politicians.”
Although not pointing to the psychological problems of any particular MP, he added they often appear in the media, are easily recognisable, and “should be treated in an asylum.”
The Ombudsman proposes that potential MPs and candidates for the position of president, prime minister and other high-ranking jobs should from now on submit a certificate ...
