Polish missiles used against Russian troops in Georgia conflict

Missiles used to attack Russian planes last year during the Russia-Georgia conflict were produced and sold by Poland, it was revealed this week.
According to Dziennik, the deal, which involved Poland selling thirty rocket launchers and 100 missiles to Georgia two years ago, was made a priority issue by President Lech Kaczynski in order to secure a quick sale.
Due to this, the goods were then transported directly from a Polish Arms unit, as it was feared that manufacturing new missiles would take up too much valuable time.
