More Poles are waiting longer to get married according to Dziennik.


Research, carried out by Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw, states that in the early 90s, the average age of men tying the knot stood at 25, and women, 23. Nowadays the figure is little under 27.5 and 25.5 respectively.

One of the reasons given is, despite the country's improving financial situation, there is a lack of housing and job prospects.
