Bishops warn MPs

Poland’s bishops have come out in force to warn the country’s Catholic politicians not to support abortion. If they do, says the Church, they face excommunication.The warning comes in the form of a 100-page document entitled ‘To serve the truth about marriage and family.’
In it, one of the authors, Wojciech Cejrowski, says: “When it comes to God's law, everybody is equal, politicians included. It should be obvious to every Catholic. If you are pro-abortion and keep it to yourself, you are guilty of a mortal sin, and until you confess, you cannot go to Communion.”
