SMS killer gets 15 years

A man who used SMS messages to set up a date with a woman is now behind bars for her murder.
The culprit, known only as Robert S. for legal reasons, strangled his victim with her scarf in an allotment plot in the southern town of Opole in January 2008.
The 30-year-old man had used an offer provided by his mobile phone company which allowed the user to text other people anonymously. Using hundreds of SMS messages, and later phone calls, he stuck up a friendship with the 29-year-old woman, called Agnieszka K.
Four days after the couple first exchanged SMS messages they arranged to meet for a first date.
