Krynica brings promise

Last week's economic forum in Krynica – nicknamed "the Polish Davos" – included promises of support for Polish businesses from the central bank, as well as prognoses of where the global economy is headed and critiques of how it got off track from leading economists.

More than 1500 participants and 900 panellists from around the world gathered in the Polish mountain resort town for the 19th edition of the annual gathering, held this year September 9-11. The forum included panels, debates, and presentations featuring political and business leaders from Europe, the U.S., and beyond.
