Missing fingerprints raise questions over MP’s ‘suicide’

Fingerprints from the gun which fatally shot MP Barbara Blida have gone missing, says a report in this week’s Gazeta Wyborcza, raising speculation that the former Democratic Left Alliance minister did not commit suicide.“Unless a person who holds a gun is wearing gloves, there is no chance that they will not leave fingerprints on it,” says an ‘anonymous expert’ quoted by the paper.
“If gone, it is because someone deliberately removed or blurred them. And that may mean that Blida did not commit suicide, but was killed during a scuffle with a functionary from the Internal Security Agency (ABW),” the expert continues.
