Grandad held on incest charges, again

Investigators in Poland are looking into allegations that a 71-year old man fathered his grand-daughter’s one-year old child.


Jan S. from the village of Slawno in northwest Poland is accused of raping his 23-year old grand-daughter Jolanta and fathering her baby.

He previously appeared in court in 2000, accused of raping his daughter Brygyda over a nine year period (1987-1996), which resulted in Brygyda (who is now 42-years old) giving birth to 4 children.

Then, he was given a 5 year suspended sentence after his daughter told the court that she had consented willingly to his advances and said that she had “not felt exploited.”
