PiS minister drink driving

Law and Justice minister (PiS) Marek Latas has been found guilty of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
After being found to have 0.7 units of alcohol in his blood, Latas originally claimed that the results were due to diabetes, stating “I am diabetic and I ate a few apples before driving.”
Latas now faces a year without a license and will be forced to pay up to PLN 8,000. ...
