The 32-year-old owner of a kebab factory in Slawa, east of Zielona Gora, was shot dead during a business meeting this Thursday. The owner and another man, both of Turkish origins, locked themselves in a room in the factory, when shortly after 10am, shots were heard. The owner was killed in the incident and the other man fled the scene in a car. A massive police search followed, with roadblocks and a police helicopter involved, to apprehend the presumed assailant, a 42-year-old man who was detained a few hours later. The interrogation of the assailant is being held up while police seek a translator as he speaks no Polish. No reason has yet been established for the killing.
