US to renew missile talks

An envoy to US President Barack Obama is expected to be visit Poland and the Czech Republic, in order to try and repair damaged relations caused by the anti-missile shield debacle.According to daily Gazeta Wyborcza, the visit will occur within the next several days and will most likely be from either Secretary of State Hillary Clinton or Vice-President Joe Biden.
The move will no doubt please the Polish government who were left feeling snubbed after Obama dropped plans, previously agreed with the Bush administration, to set up part of their missile defence system next to Poland’s western border.
