Cops swoop on drugs farm

Up to 440 cannabis plants worth around PLN 180,000 on the black market have been seized on a farm in the Lubuskie region of Poland.Police from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBS) swooped on the farm in the early hours of Thursday morning arresting two brothers red-handed as they stuffed bags full of ready dried marihuana. A third brother was later arrested trying to flee the complex.
Police spokesman Andrzej Gaska told Gazeta Wyborcza “Several hundred bushes were found near the town of Slubice. This was a large-scale plantation and the crop that we located and destroyed is one of the biggest we have found this year in Poland.”
