PiS questions Lisbon Treaty’s power

Just three weeks after signing, The Law and Justice party (PiS) is set to ask the Constitutional Tribunal to verify that the Lisbon Treaty cannot override the country’s constitution, according to Nasz Dziennik.



The proposal will ask the tribunal to confirm that the reform treaty will not allow EU law to trump Poland’s constitution, as well as requesting pointers on how to make Polish law more consistent with that of the EU. ...
