MP faces 10 years in prison

Former Civic Platform (PO) MP Cezary Atamanczuk was in court this week, following his 2008 arrest for driving under the influence of drugs.
He was stopped by police during a routine check and his blood was found to contain a mixture of marijuana and amphetamines. In his car, officers found a gram of each drug.
After offering the officers a bribe (money and the chance to purchase land at cheap prices), he later complained that the arrest had been a “traumatic experience” and the circumstances “too violent” for him.
If found guilty, he faces up to 10 years in prison. ...
