EU demands changes to telecom law
The EC has formally requested that Poland revise its legal definition of a telecom subscriber. A decision by the European Court of Justice in January 2009 required that Poland do so, but no change has been made yet. The ruling is intended to protect subscribers to pre-paid phone services, who may be denied rights granted to them under EU law.
Used car imports drop 39 percent
