Wisla Krakow maintained their red hot start to the season, but left it late to overcome Piast Gliwice. Pawel Brozek netted his fifth goal of the season with a 24th minute strike, but it was down to Marcelo to seal the points with his 76th minute winner.
Ruch Chorzow stay second after a one win away at Polonia Bytom, while third place Legia hit five past Korona Kielce in a seven goal thriller. Legia added their second on 69 minutes, with the floodgates opening minutes later after Kielce saw two men given red. Zaglebie Lubin stay rooted bottom on six points following a two nil defeat at mid table Slask Wroclaw.
