Krakow’s Autism Centre is at risk of closing next year due to a new National Health Fund (NFZ) regulation stipulating they must employ “four and one-third” occupational therapists. The NFZ has laid down strict guidelines for staffing levels which any outlet must adhere to in order to qualify for a contract with them.The Krakow Autism Centre deals with 56 patients aged from 7 to 25 every day, teaching them life skills.
