Berlin wall confusion

Confusion has broken out over who will be the person to tip over the first domino in Berlin, signifying the chain of events that led to the pulling down of the Berlin wall.
The initiative, which will feature thousands of 2.5 metre-high dominoes over a 2 kilometre stretch, will take place on November 9th and symbolise the demise of the wall 20 years ago.
But so far, an official candidate has yet to be chosen.
Poland’s anti-communist hero Lech Walesa and the USSR’s second-to-last head of state and the father of Glasnost and Perestroika Mikhail Gorbachev are currently in the running.
For Walesa the outcome is already a done deal.
