France to help Poland go nuclear
French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk jointly announced on Thursday a cooperative agreement between their two countries to develop nuclear power in Poland.The French will help the Polish government realize its plans to build one reactor by 2020 and a second by 2025. Poland currently has no nuclear power facilities, while France's 59 nuclear plants supply more than three-quarters of its electricity and generate additional power for export.
