PM faces criticism for failing to deliver on election pledges
The government chalked up two years in office last week amid growing criticism that it has failed to fulfil election promises and achieved little in the way of success.An opinion poll by OBOP found that 68 per cent of respondents thought the government, a coalition between Civic Platform (PO) and its junior partner, the Polish Peoples Party (PSL), has done little to implement a whole series of election promises.
The poll’s finding reflects widespread and dogged accusations that the government of Donald Tusk while long on rhetoric is short on substance.
