Health minister faces legal action over swine flu

Ewa Kopacz, the country’s embattled health minister, has been threatened with legal action over the government’s alleged lack of preparation to deal with an expected outbreak of swine flu.The government has refrained from stocking up on vaccine for the A/H1N1 virus, purchasing just enough to cover only a small percentage of the population, prompting Janusz Kochanowski, the citizen’s rights ombudsman, to threaten to sue Mrs Kopacz.
