Food prices to rise in 2010
Food prices are expected to rise once the holiday season is over, as retailers begin passing on increases in wholesale costs.Consumers can thank the delay in price hikes on retailers' desire to draw shoppers into their stores during the busy Christmas shopping season. Wholesale prices have risen sharply this year, with sugar increasing 70 percent in price.
