Kubot Breaks Into Top 100

Twenty seven year old Lukasz Kubot has become the first Polish male singles player to break into the world top 100 for over three decades.
The latest ATP World Tour rankings saw the Lublin born Pole shoot from 111th place to 89th, thanks largely to an inspired performance during the qualifying rounds of November’s World Tour Masters 1000 Paris. The news comes as the icing on the cake in a year which saw Kubot become the first Pole in 26 years to reach an ATP final. While the Pole lost the final of the Serbian Open to world number three Novak Djokovic, his form has made him the most successful Pole since the days of Wojciech Fibak. ...
