Poland to receive unarmed missiles

The Pentagon has confirmed that Poland will only receive unarmed Patriot missiles from the US until 2012.

The initial part of the agreement on stationing Patriot missiles in Poland will last two years, beginning in 2010.

“I do not understand why the Pentagon took such a decision. On several occasions Poland has proved that it is a loyal ally, who does everything that the US asks,” James Carafano, security expert from Heritage Foundation told Rzeczpospolita. ...
