Students to pay for tuition

University authorities have issued a report calling for Polish students to begin paying for their studies in 2015. The document describes the government's current levels of spending on research and higher education as inadequate and seeks to triple the amount of money available to academic institutions.
In a proposal entitled "Strategy for the Development of Higher Education: 2010-2020", three organizations representing university chancellors call for introducing tuition and privatising some state schools as a partial solution to the problem of insufficient funding.
