Lublin’s driving test centre is suffering from a plague of drivers turning up drunk for their tests
A woman who caused an accident while learning to drive was today found guilty by a court and handed an eighteen month suspended jail sentence in a decision which has aroused controversy, with court experts even failing to agree as to the interpretation of the law.The crash occurred in 2007 in Radzyn Podlaski, some way to the east of Warsaw, in early December during a heavy snowstorm. The car, which wasn’t fitted with winter tyres, went into a slide before hitting another vehicle head on, leading to the deaths of two people.
