Dead body left at checkout

Customers of a major supermarket were left shocked as the body of a dead man was left at a checkout for three hours before being removed by ambulance staff.

61-year old Tomasz K collapsed from a heart attack whilst shopping for groceries in the Auchan supermarket in Warsaw.

Spokeswoman for Auchan, Dorota Patejko, told TVN24 “I can't believe this man’s body was left for so long whilst people went about doing their shopping. We will investigate this fully.”
