The Polish government is looking for a cartoon character to promote their nuclear power drive.
The campaign, which will cost PLN 40 mln over four years, is to be fronted by a ‘popular culture character’ in the same vein as Homer Simpson.
“It could be a foreign university graduate who comes back to Poland after training in Western Europe,” suggests Trojanowska, a commissioner for nuclear energy.
According to a survey by the national Atomic Energy Agency, 47 percent of Poles currently support the development of nuclear energy in Poland and 38 percent are against it.
