Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski is to meet Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister to discuss US plans to place missile defence systems in Central Europe. Sikorski announced that he intended to consult Russia over American plans to develop missile defences on Polish territory but stressed that Poland’s final decision would be made independently.
