Polish trains have faced delays due to severe weather
Rail travellers were left to sit around in sub zero conditions for up to four hours due to delays, with nothing more than a cup of tea as means of compensation.
EU regulations stipulate that customers are entitled to half their ticket fare back if a train is over two hours late, and while Poland did in fact implement this directive in December 2009, it was abandoned 28 days later. ...
