Radwanska Fires into Semis
After seasons of promise Poland’s number one tennis hope, Agnieszka Radwanska, has finally shown signs of the form that once took her to the quarter finals of Wimbledon and the Australian Open.
The 22 year old, ranked ninth in the world, shot her way into the semi-final of the Dubai Tennis Championship after defeating Regina Kulikova 3-6, 6-4, 6-3. The unfancied Kulikova, playing her sixth match in as many days, had wowed crowds earlier in the tournament having beaten French Open champion Svetlana Kuznetsova in the third round. Radwanska was forced to dig deep to recover from a poor start, and now meets Victoria Azarenka in Friday’s big match. ...
