Malysz Bags Second Silver

A week after ski jumping legend Adam Malysz claimed silver medal in the normal hill event, history repeated itself producing a carbon copy podium finish in the long hill jump.

Competing in Whistler, Canada, ‘The Flying Swiss’ Simon Ammann put in the performance of his career to score 283.6 points over two jumps, once more comfortably beating ‘The Eagle from the Wisla’ into second spot. Austrian Gregor Schlierenzauer took third place to replicate the top three from the previous week. ‘His jumping was unbelievable,’ said Malysz of his rival.
