Ready for Kick-off
The Polish football season resumes this weekend after the winter break with table topping Wisla traveling to fifth place Belchatow, and second place Legia visiting the resurgent Cracovia.
Third place Lech Poznan face relegation threatened Polonia. In spite of rumours to the contrary Lech striker Robert Lewandowski remains at the club, as does Semir Stilic. Arriving to play in the Ekstraklasa is former Man U bench warmer Fangzhuo who signs for Legia, and he’s joined by ex Auxerre man Issa Ba who has linked up with Wisla. Elsewhere, it’s emerged Lech could meet Manchester Utd in a summer curtain raiser to celebrate the completion of their new look stadium. ...
