A 28-year-old woman from Chroscicach who buried her newborn baby alive in her garden has been arrested.

When questioned by the police, she immediately confessed to the crime and led them to where the remains lay partially covered in the ground.

“I’m shocked,” one neighbour told local media. “I only knew her by sight as she only moved to our village recently. But she seemed very nice. It is hard to believe she would do this.”
