An Internal Security Agency (ABW) officer is currently in court after allegedly trading secrets with a contact from Belarus.

Robert R. met the Belarusian woman, believed to be a spy named Olga Solomenik, through an internet dating website, where she claimed to be seeking a husband.

Despite the case starting in December last year, up until two weeks ago it was unclear as to what exactly Robert R. was in court for.

It is now thought that the accused has been charged with something contained within Article. 130 of the Criminal Code - a part of the law that deals with espionage.
