New documents found
Documents discovered in a house near Auschwitz concentration camp could provide new information on Doctor Josef Mengele, the infamous Angel of Death who conducted horrific experiments on prisoners.
Historians from the Auschwitz museum explained that a homeowner had found around 280 documents relating to the work of the SS while carrying out a renovation on his house in Oswiecim.
It is believed that they had lain undisturbed for 65 years after being hidden there before Soviet troops liberated the camp in early 1945.
