Former Deputy Interior Minister Piotr Piętak came under fire this week when the Dziennik daily uncovered that the bill on his publicly-funded mobile phone came in at close to PLN 80,000. “I don’t feel guilty,” Piętak told the paper. “The fault lay with the ministry’s administrators, who signed such a scandalous agreement with the operator, with no cost limits.” According to ministry data, the bill was mostly in internet connection fees from abroad, where Dziennik alleges P ...
