Two men have been arrested for stealing a safe from a guesthouse in Kolobrzeg.
Patrik A. (19) and Lukasz K. (20) decided to break into the ‘Panorama’ after learning which days the safe would be full from one of the boy’s mothers who worked there.
Having carefully left a toilet window open during the day, the thieves returned at night and climbed in, hoping to make a smooth getaway with the cash.
But their initial plans were thwarted when they were unable to prise the door open and were forced to resort to Plan B.
The men carried the 200 kg safe out to the beach where they tried once again to get inside.
