Lech continue to catch up with rivals
Lech Poznan gained three points on their rivals Wisla Krakow by winning their game, one of only two matches to take place last weekend, on the Friday evening before the crash at Smolensk. In a routine win the Railwaymen easily brushed aside Arka Gdynia 2-0 with goals by Stilic and Wojtkowiak. Semir Stilic, scorer of last week’s crucial winner against Legia Warszawa, continued his return to form with a goal in the 14th minute following a slick passing move.
