The Polish Military Counter-Intelligence Service (SKW) was probably the first to know about the crash of the presidential plane.

According to one source who wishes to remain anonymous, “The flight was monitored due to the fact that it was a military machine.”

In addition to information such as the location, height and speed of the aircraft, the source said that at the time of the crash, the SKW would probably have had various recordings including conversations with the pilots and air traffic control.
