Police raided an old people’s home on Wednesday following accusations of physical and mental abuse of residents.
Police investigated the home in Radoość near Warsaw after film footage was sent to the Polska daily by a former worker. The film clip – made on a mobile phone by Łukasz K., a conscript doing community service at the home as an alternative to military service – was widely publicized by Polish media and shows a frail elderly resident being insulted and hit.
