Police Say MP’s Car Torched

A fire that consumed government anticorruption coordinator Julia Pitera’s car was started intentionally, police spokesman Mariusz Sokołowski told reporters this week, though the motivation remains unkown.
Pitera’s car was found ablaze in front of her Mokotów apartment on the previous Sunday night, and fire brigade and police experts immediately suspected that arson might have been involved.
