LOT pilots have been banned from speaking about the crash
LOT airline pilots have been banned from speaking to the media about the Smolensk air disaster.
“In the face of the recent tragedy - the crash of the government’s TU-154 aircraft on April 10 - we ask all employees to refrain from talking to the media,” said airline President, Sebastian Mikosz.
But Jacek Balcer, a spokesman for the company had stronger words; “Those who do not comply with this request may receive a warning or be reprimanded.”
LOT, one of the oldest airlines in the world, was started up in 1929 and currently employs around 450 pilots. ...
