Two a Day Infected with HIV

Latest government figures released to coincide with World AIDS Day on Dec.1 showed that around 700 people annually are registered as infected with the HIV virus in Poland, with one think-tank highlighting the failure to sterilise medical equipment properly as one possible cause of many cases.
Action groups held events nationally promoting safe sex and aids-awareness to mark the international day of awareness, with officials also warning that the real number of infections may be up to 30 times higher than the official figur ...
