Officials investigating the mysterious case of Krzysztof Olewnik have discovered more blood stains underneath the floor of his house which they believe could belong to one of the kidnappers.

In 2001, police found Olewnik’s blood on the walls, but last year, tests showed that there were traces of another person’s blood, leading the Gdansk Prosecutor’s office to order the removal of the floor panels for a more detailed search.

Police are now looking into the possibility that during the abduction, a fight broke out in which one of the attackers was wounded.

They are also considering the option that the blood may belong to a worker or tradesman who injured themselves whilst fittin ...
